Sequestration: Impacts on Animals
On March 1, 2013, an automatic spending cut called "sequestration" went into effect, requiring mandatory budget cuts to many government programs. We've compiled a list of some of the negative impacts sequestration could have on animals—as well as suggestions for how Congress could save more than $1 billion per year in the federal budget.
