The 23rd Genesis Awards took place on Saturday, March 28th, at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The Humane Society of the United States' signature Hollywood event, and the only awards show of its kind honoring the news and entertainment media for raising awareness of animal protection issues, The 23rd Genesis Awards celebrated the best from a particularly stellar year of media coverage.
But even before the lights went up on our annual star-studded gala, many of Hollywood's most compassionate celebrities were lining up to be on the event's Honorary Committee.
