The Kellogg Conference Hotel is located on the campus of Gallaudet University in northeastern Washington, D.C., just 1.5 miles from Capitol Hill. Ronald Reagan National Airport is the closest to the venue (approximately 6 miles). For those traveling by train, take Amtrak to Union Station in Washington D.C. The hotel provides a shuttle to and from Union Station.

A very small number of rooms have been reserved at the Gallaudet University Kellogg Conference Hotel (GUKCH), at a rate of $201 (USD) per night, plus tax. This rate will be offered two days prior and two days after the meeting dates of April 28-29, 2011, and is subject to availability of rooms at the time of reservation.

To receive the group rate at the Kellogg Conference Hotel, identify your affiliation with “HUMANE SOCIETY,” and make your reservation by 5:00 p.m. EST, March 28, 2011. You are encouraged to book early, as only a very small number of rooms have been reserved. You must make your reservation directly with the hotel by calling: 202-651-6000, using Code Name: HUMANE.

Overnight parking for Kellogg Conference Hotel guests is available for $18/night and is provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. Day parking for hotel guests and conference registrants is available free of charge.

Once you arrive on campus via the Florida Avenue entrance, make a left at the security post. Then make a right at the first intersection and take the first left. The parking garage will be directly in front of you on the left. The hotel is the first building on the left after exiting parking garage.

Registration includes breakfast and coffee on both days of the conference, as well as lunch on the first day (Thursday, April 28).

A conference dinner will be held on Thursday, April 28. Dinner tickets are $60.00 each and can be purchased during the registration process for conference attendees and their guests.
