Making an Impact: Strategies for Building Successful Shelter Partnerships

In this webinar, you will learn about the huge successes achieved through the San Francisco SPCA’s Sister Shelter Program. Stockton, California was one of the cities hit hardest by the recession. The municipal shelter was operating with a skeletal staff, dated policies, rampant disease, low adoptions, and dwindling transfers. The SF SPCA partnered with the shelter to help them with protocols, staffing, volunteer management, IT, marketing, fundraising, and partnerships. In just 2 years, the shelter has gone from a 70%+ euthanasia rate to a 70%+ live release rate. Hear from two leaders of the SF SPCA about how they did it, what they would do differently, and where the program is going now.
Orphaned Kitten Care
