Legal Clerkships, Animal Protection Litigation
Seeking several conscientious law students for unpaid Summer 2012 legal clerkships within the Animal Protection Litigation Section in our Washington, D.C., office. Law clerks will work closely with attorneys and be integrally involved in the process of researching, preparing and prosecuting animal protection lawsuits in state and federal courts. Law clerks must have excellent legal writing and research skills. Although experience in animal protection and/or environmental law is preferred, we are primarily interested in working with students who are resourceful, innovative and productive, and who have a strong interest in animal protection litigation. While a full-time commitment is preferred, we are also accepting applications from those seeking part-time positions, and Law Clerks can arrange to receive course credit. Applications will be accepted until February 15, 2012.
Please send a cover letter, resume, writing sample and references to Erica Anthony at firstname.lastname@example.org. These positions are located in our Washington, D.C., office.
