Human Resources Generalist, Human Resources

The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), the nation’s largest animal advocacy organization is seeking a Human Resources Generalist for its Human Resources Department. The main responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: administering employee benefits; performing new employee and benefits orientations; coordinating the employee wellness program; assisting with recruitment to include job postings, resume and phone screening, scheduling and performing interviews;  assisting with compensation management and performance reviews; maintaining and updating departmental information to include employee handbook/policies, benefits information, personnel files and other informational materials, as necessary.   Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred with two-four years of relevant work experience and strong knowledge of HR trends, issues and HR-related laws. Experience with ADP HRB and proficiency in MS Office suite preferred. PHR certification a plus.  The salary for this position is from the mid to the high $40’s.
