Manager, Direct Response TV, Direct Marketing
The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), the nation’s largest animal advocacy organization, is seeking a Direct Response TV Manager for its Direct Marketing Department. The main responsibility of this position is management of The HSUS’s direct response television program, which will include day-to-day program coordination with agency, backend fulfillment vendor, telemarketing firm and internal staff. Other duties include, but are not limited to: tracking and reviewing campaign performance and analytical analysis; managing budgetary goals and the creative development and routing process; telemarketing script development and testing; developing back-end fulfillment packages and inventory management; reviewing mail counts, package components from copy to comps, tracking and analysis of test results and providing recommendations for future testing; reviewing of invoices associated with program. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field along with three or more years’ of direct marketing experience is highly desired. DRTV experience is a plus. Strong interest in animal protection issues strongly preferred. Must have strong organizational and communication skills (written and oral), strong computer knowledge in Microsoft Office and strong non-profit direct marketing fundraising skills.
