Online Campaign Strategist,Humane Society International
The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), the nation’s largest animal advocacy organization, is seeking an Online Marketing Strategist for its international affiliate, Humane Society International (HSI). The main responsibility of this position is to manage and produce online programs and content for HSI to drive advocacy and revenue. Other duties include, but are not limited to: write, create, and send advocacy, fundraising, and other emails to segments of the organization’s online house file for a variety of HSI campaigns; act as a liaison with the appropriate campaigns/country office staff to develop and implement programs that will maximize engagement with our constituents for these campaigns; assist with production of online donation forms and related fundraising content; project-manage development of assets such as infographics, action alerts, pledges, and other engagement tools used to drive advocacy and fundraising.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Journalism, English, Liberal Arts, Communications, or other relevant field required. At least two years of experience in online content production desired, preferably in advocacy or other nonprofit organizations. Other skills include: strong writing skills; basic HTML and web design experience desired but not required.
