Online Campaign Strategist-Latin America, Online Communications
The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), the nation’s largest animal advocacy organization, is seeking an Online Campaign Strategist-Latin America for its Online Communications Department. The main responsibility of this position is to manage and produce online programs and content in English and Spanish for HSI (Humane Society International) Latin America, HSI Global and other HSI-entities to drive online advocacy and revenue. This person will create and manage a variety of online and other fundraising and advocacy programs, projects, and communications designed to acquire new donors, cultivate and retain existing donors, and maximize revenue. Other duties include, but are not limited to: write, create, and send advocacy, fundraising, and other emails in English and Spanish to segments of the organization’s online house file; host weekly meetings with the Latin America team; work with HSI online fundraising team and other channels; liaise with Latin American staff and others to develop and implement in-country fundraising programs; assist with production of online donation forms and related fundraising content. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field and at least three years’ experience in an online capacity—producing emails, writing/editing--preferably for an advocacy or other nonprofit organization highly desired. Fluent Spanish and English speaker required; exposure to international issues strongly preferred. Experience using CRM software such as Convio and Engaging Networks is very helpful. Strong project management skills are essential. Demonstrated experience in and/or knowledge of online emails, fundraising and advocacy preferred.
