Senior Human Resources Manager

The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), the nation’s largest animal advocacy organization, is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager.   This position will provide advanced human resources process and project leadership, particularly in the area of human capital and organizational development strategies and initiatives, as well as in the employee relations function.  The position also serves as an internal consultant and resource for HSUS staff on various corporate-wide Human Resources initiatives and issues and is responsible for providing human resources guidance, direction, and support to selected business units.  Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, organizational development, business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.  Master’s Degree preferred.   Eight years of related experience in a similar role with responsibility for a variety of HR Generalist functions – particularly related to employee relations that have involved the development, delivery and management of human capital/organizational development initiatives.  Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification desired.
