Online Campaign Strategist, Online Communications
The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), the nation’s largest animal advocacy organization, is seeking an Online Campaign Strategist for its Online Communications section. The main responsibility of this position is managing our online donation forms, as well as broader online donor acquisition initiatives. Other duties include, but are not limited to: producing, managing, and optimizing our online donation forms for optimal conversion rates; working on donor acquisition projects; working with various departments on projects that impact or relate to our existing online fundraising initiatives; working with the online communications teams to cultivate, retain and upgrade donors to new giving levels. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, English, Communications, or other relevant field is essential, along with experience in writing/editing for an online audience. At least two to four years' experience in fundraising, preferably for an online channel and for an advocacy or non-profit organization, highly desired. At least two years’ experience in online content production, including web pages and/or emails, also preferred. Other important skills include basic HTML and web design experience, strong writing and editing skills, interest in animal protection issues, and demonstrated project management skills.
