Technical Systems Lead

The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), the nation’s largest animal advocacy organization, is seeking a Technical Systems Lead for its Information Systems department. The main responsibilities of this position are to determine, communicate, coordinate and apply technical programming and database standards to unify the Information Systems team efforts in supplying outstanding service to the HSUS user community.  Other duties include, but are not limited to: troubleshoot database issues and problem solve utilizing system tools; utilize Microsoft SSRS reporting tool and SQL for data selection; create reports using Target Team Approach report building tools; analyze/program/maintain uploads, downloads and membership database.   Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Technology or equivalent and/or five years computer programming experience (expertise using SQL and SSRS a must).  Proficiency with reports, queries, file selects, uploads, downloads and interfaces, strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills, high degree of accuracy and precision, experience with Target Team Approach strongly preferred.  Understanding of database architecture and data warehouse methodology preferred. The salary range for this position is from the mid $50’s to the low $60’s.
