KATHY FRESTON is a health and wellness expert and a NYT best-selling author. Her books include Quantum Wellness: A Practical and Spiritual Guide to Health and Happiness; The One: Discovering the Secrets of Soul Mate Love; and Expect a Miracle: 7 Spiritual Steps to Finding the Right Relationship. Her newest book is The Quantum Wellness Cleanse: The 21 Day Essential Guide to Healing Your Body, Mind, and Spirit. Her work has garnered accolades from Dr. Andrew Weil, Dr. Neal Barnard, Marianne Williamson and Dr. Deepak Chopra. Freston has appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Ellen, The View, Good Morning America, and CBS’s the Early Show, and her work has been widely featured.

LORETTA SWIT became an icon via her portrayal of quick-witted Major Margaret Houlihan on M*A*S*H*, TV’s most honored series. Today new fans can enjoy Major Houlihan thanks to worldwide syndication. Ms. Swit played Chris Cagney in the original Cagney and Lacey and starred in 25-plus TV movies. Her wildlife series, Those Incredible Animals, ran for five years on Animal Planet. She also starred in such films as Freebie And The Bean with James Caan, Stand Up And Be Counted with Jacqueline Bisset and S.O.B. with Julie Andrews and William Holden. She made her Broadway debut in Same Time, Next Year and acted alongside Susan Hayward and Celeste Holm in two productions of Mame, playing Mame herself years later. She has also appeared in The Vagina Monologues and Shirley Valentine and just completed a tour of Forty-Second Street. Most recently, she played Sister Aloysius Beauvier in Doubt. Ms. Swit has received 10 Emmy nominations, six Golden Globe nominations, been honored with the People’s Choice Award, the Genie Award, and two Emmys. Ms. Swit serves as a V.P. of Actors and Others for Animals and has been a spokesperson for The Farm Sanctuary and The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS).

WAYNE PACELLE As president and CEO of The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), Wayne Pacelle leads the nation’s largest animal protection organization, with 10.5 million members and supporters. During his tenure, Pacelle has nearly doubled the size of the organization and, through corporate combinations with groups such as The Fund for Animals and the Doris Day Animal League, built unity and greater efficiency within the animal protection cause. He has led successful efforts to pass hundreds of new state and federal laws to protect animals, expanded The HSUS’s animal care operations, and worked with dozens of corporations to enact operational changes that benefit animals. The NonProfit Times named him Executive of the Year for his leadership during The HSUS’s response to Hurricane Katrina. He graduated from Yale University in 1987.
