An epicurean event featuring gourmet vegan fare created by select chefs, veg appetit was a celebration of the variety and quality of options available to the conscious foodie. It took place on Sunday, June 16, at SmogShoppe in Culver City, Calif. The event benefited our Farm Animal Protection Campaign and Los Angeles Office.

The event was a big success! More than 200 guests enjoyed sampling a variety of delicious food and drinks, watching cooking demos from the featured chefs, bidding in the auctions, mingling with celebrities and HSUS staff, and learning more about Meatless Mondays, our Farm Animal Protection Campaign, and our Los Angeles Office.
