Kristie Stevanus Troha is Director of Marketing and Corporate Partnerships at The HSUS, where she manages a wide variety of programs aimed at increasing pet adoption and spay/neuter, ending unnecessary euthanasia, and protecting pets. Programs include Animal Care Expo (the premier conference for animal care and control professionals), World Spay Day, Pets of Valor, Shelter Partners, and The Shelter Pet Project.

Stevanus Troha brings to The HSUS a varied marketing background, including building strategic partnerships, creative marketing communications, brand leadership and enhancement, and strategic planning.

Prior to joining The HSUS, Stevanus Troha held a number of leadership and consulting roles, including Director of Marketing at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts, an innovative performing arts non‐profit whose programs are known for the enrichment and education of diverse audiences and participants.

Stevanus Troha holds a bachelor's degree in journalism and a graduate certificate in integrated marketing communications, both from West Virginia University. Stevanus Troha shares her home in Somerset, Penn., with a husband, son, three cats, and two dogs.
