Pierre Grzybowski

Pierre Grzybowski is Research and Enforcement Manager with the Fur-Free Campaign. He previously served as grassroots coordinator at The Fund for Animals, where he specialized in the fur industry.
Grzybowski is an expert on the fur industry, and currently spearheads the ongoing investigatory efforts that have revealed nationwide false advertising and labeling of animal fur by major retailers and designers. The HSUS's fur labeling investigations and efforts to push for stronger laws and enforcement have been seen on Good Morning America, the Today Show, Fox affiliates, CNN, as well as in People magazine, The Daily News, the Washington Post, the Baltimore Sun, Associated Press, and others.
Grzybowski assisted on an Emmy-winning investigative story by David Goldstein of CBS2/KCAL9.
As part of The HSUS's Protect Seals team, Grzybowski documented the Canadian seal hunt on the ice floes off the coast of eastern Canada.
Grzybowski can assist the media in all aspects of fur stories, including trend analysis, investigations of local retailers, and pets injured or killed in traps.
Grzybowski can assist law enforcement officials and agencies in investigating violations of federal and state fur labeling laws.
Grzybowski holds a B.S. in Environmental Policy and Planning from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
