Alex Gallardo
Tara Loller joined The HSUS in 2010 as a field responder for The HSUS' Animal Rescue Team.
She spends the majority of her time on the road, deployed on animal rescues, where she is engaged in the process every step of the way, from planning for the removal and transport of rescued animals, to coordinating their veterinary examinations, to managing their post-rescue sheltering and placement.
She also interfaces with the public and volunteers in the field, and provides situation reports to headquarters. Loller is certified in Rescue 3 International, in technical rope rescue, in large animal rescue, and in swiftwater rescue.
Before coming to The HSUS, Loller worked as a humane officer in Pennsylvania, where she worked with district attorneys in various counties to prosecute animal cruelty cases and did extensive undercover work exposing puppy mill abuses in Lancaster County.
