LEGAL CLERKSHIPS, Animal Protection Litigation Seeking several conscientious law students for unpaid Spring and Summer 2009 legal clerkships within the Animal Protection Litigation Section in our Washington, D.C. office. Law clerks will work closely with attorneys and be integrally involved in the process of researching, preparing and prosecuting animal protection lawsuits in state and federal courts. Law clerks must have excellent legal writing and research skills. STATE DIRECTOR, Field Services, Mississippi This position operates from an in-home office under the supervision of the South East Regional Office and carries out national and state agendas and priorities within state to which assigned. The intern will focus most of his or her time on one campaign and will be trained in the integral work of campaigning for animals, including completing an online Humane Society University course. Tasks include: constituent outreach and organizing, research, and drafting campaign material both for website and media pieces.
