Alabama 2011 Legislative Session Ends

Alabama: Strengthen the Nation's Weakest Cockfighting Penalty
H.B. 176 and S.B. 175 have been introduced to increase the penalties for cockfighting. Although it's been illegal since 1896, the maximum penalty for cockfighting is only $50.00.
