Washington 2011 Legislative Session Ends
The Washington legislature has adjourned after passing several animal protection measures, including bills to prohibit people from selling, trading or distributing shark fins, to upgrade Washington’s animal cruelty laws, and to strengthen penalties for poaching. Thanks for all of your calls and emails -- they made a difference! We will continue to work to protect animals in Washington.
