Osprey Family Lands in Laundry Basket
When a violent summer storm blew through Cape Cod, an osprey nest with two baby birds was tossed from tree top to the water below. Thanks to quick thinking, one of the babies was saved and a new home was in place the next day.

The Unleading of a Swan
When we first examined the male mute swan, we were at a loss of what could cause these clinical signs. Blood tests revealed the problem: he had a very high level of lead in his system – nearly enough to kill him.
