Since he was a child, all Dr. Roberto Aguilar wanted to be was a veterinarian -- and work with wildlife. He's been around the world in this capacity and recently landed at Cape Wildlife Center.

One lucky eagle is nursed back to health by the staff at The Fund for Animals Wildlife Center in Ramona, Calif. After months recovering from a sickness, the eagle doubled her weight and made her flight home.

Martina and Fiona were among 11 horses abandoned by the side of a lonely Oregon road. Their luck changed when they were brought to Duchess Sanctuary for rehabilitation and adopted into a forever home a few months later.
