Doris Day Horse Rescue and Adoption Center, located in Murchison, Texas on the grounds of Cleveland Amory Black Beauty Ranch, is an innovative facility that rescues and rehabilitates abused and neglected horses, and ultimately helps place them with adopters who can provide them with safe, permanent, loving homes.

Hank Finds A Happy Home
Fabienne McIntosh first came to the DDHRAC in November 2011 to adopt a horse. Because she had very little horse experience, she began volunteering while waiting for the perfect horse to come along. When Fabienne first saw Hank, it was love at first sight.
