Alyssa was born to a rescued mare and therefore has none of the vices that we often see with horses who have suffered cruelty or neglect. She has wonderful ground manners, stands on a pedestal, loves to please, and is gentle with kids and beginners. Alyssa has been started under saddle and is starting to guide at a walk, trot, and canter. If allowed to continue her training, Alyssa could make a wonderful all-around horse.
Since she is still quite young, the ideal adopter for Alyssa would be one who has the support of a professional natural horse trainer, so that Alyssa can continue to build her skills and confidence under saddle.
Alyssa has a severe overbite (parrot mouth) but fares well in the pastures so long as hay is available.
