Piper, a confident and consistent mare, has a very sweet disposition and enjoys baths and grooming
Adoption status: Ready for a new home. Adopt Piper
Breed: Quarter horse
Color: Sorrel with white star and 2 hind sox
In December of 2010, Piper was rescued from a case of severe neglect. She and over 40 other broodmares and babies were turned out in a bare pasture with little grass and a small dirty pond.
Since her arrival at DDHRAC Piper has made a remarkable recovery. Piper has a very sweet disposition. She loves to be petted and enjoys baths and grooming.
She’s very Left-Brain Introverted, which simply means that she can be a little argumentative and somewhat set in her ways. It also means that she’s consistent and confident.
Piper requires strong patient leadership. An experienced horseperson would be an ideal adopter. Of course there is still much to learn about the beautiful Piper. Adopt Piper
