One of dozens of starving horses removed from a Montana property, George was one of the most handsome -- and most high-strung -- of the horses rescued. He will find freedom to roam among nearly 200 other rescued horses on hundreds of acres at Duchess Sanctuary.

Duchess Sanctuary Offers Safe Haven for Two Lucky Mustangs
Two mustang mares were saved from slaughter, bailed out of the Nevada feedlot by the Ark Watch Foundation only hours before the truck was to depart for Canada. Rescued just a couple of weeks apart, the mares were transported to safety at the Duchess Sanctuary.

Hank Finds A Happy Home
Fabienne McIntosh first came to the DDHRAC in November 2011 to adopt a horse. Because she had very little horse experience, she began volunteering while waiting for the perfect horse to come along. When Fabienne first saw Hank, it was love at first sight.
