Minnesota Cat Shooter's Conviction Upheld
In the State of Minnesota v. Ajalon Thomas Corcoran (Minn.Court of Appeals - released 9/14/10), the court agreed with D.A. O’Laughlin and the lower court that it is indeed animal cruelty to shoot a cat whether or not the defendant knows the cat is a pet.

The Humane Society of the United States is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for burning a Calhoun County, Iowa, dog named Rocky. The Animal Rescue League of Iowa, Inc., is offering an additional $500 reward for information in this case.
