    Meet Kitty: February's Chimpanzee of the Month

    Kitty suffered terribly for 25 years at the Coulston Foundation, a now-defunct research laboratory in Alamogordo, New Mexico, where she was used as a "breeder." During that time she gave birth to as many as 14 baby chimpanzees, ten of whom were taken away from her.

    Meet Flo: January's Chimpanzee of the Month

    Flo is a 53 year-old chimpanzee who was used in harmful research for deacdes. Despite a temporary reprieve, she could still be moved to a Texas facility where she may again be used in research. Help ensure that Flo and her companions in Alamogordo, New Mexico, are permanently retired to a chimpanzee sanctuary.
