A roadside zoo in Mississippi has lost its exhibitor license after 43 years. The U.S. Department of Agriculture revoked the license following an undercover investigation and legal complaints to state and federal officials by The Humane Society of the United States.

Texas House of Representatives Passes Bill to Ban Trade in Shark Fins
The Texas House of Representatives passed H.B.852 to prohibit the sale, trade, purchase and transportation of shark fins in Texas. The bill, sponsored by Rep. Eddie Lucio III, D-District 38, passed the House with a 87-42 vote.
