The HSUS Assists Federal and Virginia State Authorities in Raid of Suspected Cruelty Case
The HSUS' Animal Rescue Team assisted The USDA Office of Inspector General, the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control and the Virginia Attorney General’s office in the raid of an alleged cruelty case in Roseland, Va. More than one hundred animals including game fowl, hunting dogs, horses and pigs were rescued from the property.
