The HSUS Marks Anniversary of N.C. Puppy Mill Rescue
A year ago, The HSUS worked with Wayne County Animal Control to rescue 283 dogs from inhumane conditions in Mount Olive, N.C. Since then, legislation has been introduced to establish humane care standards and to require large commercial dog breeders to be licensed.
