Puppy Mill Action Week
About this video: For a year and half, Timmy Bullion worked at Southern Virginia puppy mills selling locally and to pet stores, including the largest known puppy mill in Virginia at the time, where more than 1,000 dogs lived in cramped, barren cages.
Over time, Bullion became increasingly disturbed by the conditions he witnessed every day. Once part of the problem, he is now part of the solution. In this video, he speaks out about the hidden cruelty of puppy mills.
Take action this Puppy Mill Action Week
Sadly, thousands of puppy buyers every year are duped into supporting puppy mills like the one where Bullion worked when they buy from a pet store or over the Internet and don't take the time to visit their breeder.
The holidays are here, and it's the busiest puppy-buying season of the year. During this year's Puppy Mill Action Week, we ask you to help us spread the word: Don't put cruelty on your shopping list. Always consider adoption first, and never buy from a breeder you haven't met and screened in person.
