A New Year's Reprieve for Alamogordo Chimpanzees
Nearly 200 government-owned chimpanzees are temporarily safe, now that a plan to transfer them to a Texas research laboratory has been postponed. This is an important victory in the battle to permanently retire a group of chimpanzees who have already suffered in laboratories for decades.

USDA Cites Primate Lab Exposed in HSUS Undercover Investigation
Following The HSUS’ release of disturbing video footage from a 9-month undercover investigation at the world’s largest chimpanzee lab, the USDA cited the New Iberia Research Center for multiple Animal Welfare Act violations.
