Restaurants, Chefs, and Companies Taking Action in Support of the ProtectSeals Campaign
After hearing about the horrific treatment of seals at the hands of fishermen in Canada's annual seal hunt, many companies chefs, and restaurants pledged to boycott some or all Canadian seafood until the hunt is finally ended. Some businesses are boycotting snow crabs from Canada; others are boycotting seafood from the provinces involved in the hunt (Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, Prince Edward Island, and Quebec); and others are boycotting all seafood from Canada. If one of them is in your town, stop by to say thank you.
