Gourmet Magazine recently profiled some trendy bakeries that are attracting foodies and folks who simply have sweet teeth.
And a number of fantastic cookbooks feature simple, indulgent desserts that everyone can prepare and enjoy.
Humane Baking Goes Global
From June 20-28, groups from across the country and beyond will join the first annual Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale. Each participating group chooses its venue, what items to sell and how to use the proceeds.
The bake sale will raise funds for animal protection organizations, environmental groups, youth organizations and more.
