"End Dogfighting" Programs in Demand
More than 100 requests in a single day

With the cruel blood sport of dogfighting in the headlines this week, people all over the country are telling The Humane Society of the United States how desperately they need our End Dogfighting program in their communities.
In the past few days, we've received more than 100 requests for information on our innovative program.
This outpouring of interest in stopping dogfighting came from caring people all over the nation—from New Jersey to California and everywhere in between.
Dogfighting is an underground epidemic, and The HSUS is attacking it from all angles: strengthening laws, training law enforcement, and educating at-risk youth in inner cities.
The End Dogfighting campaign, which started in Chicago in 2006, uses proven violence intervention methods, free dog training classes, and community outreach to strike at the core of urban dogfighting. The success has been immense.
Last year, the program expanded to Atlanta. Our next stop: Los Angeles.
