Third Annual Dogs of Valor Awards

The Third Annual Dogs of Valor Awards celebrate the human-animal bond by honoring dogs who have exhibited an extraordinary sense of courage or resolve by heroically helping a person in need. This year's Top Ten Finalists were chosen based on the significance and impact of their heroic actions.
Our panel of celebrity judges, including Kristen Bell, Sally Pressman, and Jay Kopelman, will choose the Valor Dog of the Year and two Runner’s Up.
Now we want to hear what you think! Cast your vote for your favorite heroic hound before the voting closes on Friday, March 12, 2010 at 5 PM Eastern Time. The Finalist who receives the most votes will be named this year’s People’s Hero winner!

In addition to this year’s great prizes for the winning dogs, one lucky People’s Hero voter will be randomly selected to receive a $100 merchandise certificate to the HSUS online store, Humane Domain.
