Explore Ecuador

Spend a week with an HSUS expert as your personal host while you explore Ecuador's San Jorge’s Magic Birding and Hiking Circuit. Enjoy mountain biking in the cloud forest, hiking in the rainforest, and swimming in the waterfalls of the San Jorge Botanical Reserve. Not only is this your opportunity to explore one of the world’s most biologically diverse regions, it’s also your chance to help us create our long-awaited humane eco-travel program!

Tell us how you would develop our new program as you explore a country rich with flora and fauna, including 300 varieties of orchids, nearly 450 bird species, the Marsupial frog, Howler monkey, puma, and two-toed sloth. Please join us and help us lay the framework for more exciting humane adventures in the future!

Benefits

While you enjoy this tour, you will also be providing much needed support for some of Ecuador’s most needy companion animals. The cost of the trip includes a tax-deductible donation that will support Humane Society International’s partnership with local animal organizations and their efforts to provide the community with low-cost veterinary care, advanced veterinarian training and positive animal-related public outreach.
