The HSUS fights chaining, dogfighting, and pet overpopulation block by block
The HSUS now reaches out to pet owners in urban areas. This initiative kicked off in Atlanta this weekend with three days of events to acquaint residents with the services available: no-charge spay/neuter, the fabulous and free Pit Bull Training Team, and more.

Community outreach focused on issues common to underserved neighborhoods: dogfighting, chained dogs, and pet overpopulation. Some lucky dogs got a spay or neuter operation, or new fences that freed them from the boredom of being tied up.
