Battle of the Paddles
Celebs joined forces to play ping pong for charity at the 2010 PaddleJam
On Sunday, September 26, stars from TV, film, sports and music joined with their favorite non-profit organizations for The Ultimate Slam PaddleJam.
Team HSUS was represented by comedian/actor Hal Sparks and The Blind Side's Quinton Aaron. The duo played in the tournament to raise awareness about saving a life and adopting animals from local shelters and rescue groups.
The event took place in the heart of Hollywood at The Music Box. Hundreds of guests attended and various celebrities played in the tournament on behalf of their favorite charities. 2010 PaddleJam players included George Lopez ("Lopez Tonight"), Zachary Levi ("Chuck"), Simon Helberg ("The Big Bang Theory"), LMFAO (hip hop duo), Harold Perrineau ("Lost"), Greg Grunberg ("Heroes"), Jesse Williams ("Grey's Anatomy"), and many more.
PaddleJam gives audiences around the globe the chance to take action, get involved and make an impact through eight participating charities. The Humane Society of the United States is asking participants to pledge to adopt their next pet.
