Paws to the Rescue Receives Emergency Grant After Burglary and Theft
Paws to the Rescue, a non-profit partner agency of the Marion County Animal Shelter in Mullins, S.C., will receive an emergency grant of $1,500 from The Humane Society of the United States. The grant will help fund the replacement of critical supplies, including food, stolen during a recent burglary. A dog was also stolen from the shelter at the same time, but is now safe.
According to shelter director Jen Nall, the agency is relying on support from the community to replace supplies and help move forward from this crime against innocent animals. The HSUS joins the community in this effort.
Anyone interested in details and updates or making a financial or in-kind donation should contact Nall at 843-423-8370.
