Animal Videos Available on iTunes
iPhone and iTunes users have a new way to get the latest news about animals — video podcasts from The Humane Society of the United States.
The on-going series includes breaking news and as well as feature stories about animals and how we relate to them. Prepared by The HSUS award winning video team, the action podcasts emphasize The HSUS' major work to help dogs and cats, to rescue animal victims of disasters and emergencies, to stop cruelty and animal fighting, to combat the fur industry, to reform animal research, to end wildlife abuse, to stop factory farming, to provide sanctuary and rehabilitation for animals and more.
HSUS President and CEO Wayne Pacelle kicks off the series with a message to supporters. The goal is to convey, from the scene, the around-the-clock efforts of The HSUS to confront cruelty and celebrate the human-animal bond.
While the series will include many hard hitting issues, the lighter side of the animal world will also be on display. It will feature how-to segments on living with wild neighbors, solving pet behavior problems, tips on humane living and other topics to help viewers fully appreciate the animal kingdom.
