Adventure Travel to Benefit Animals
Travel package to Machu Picchu raises funds for equine programs in Peru
Have you ever dreamed of exploring the mysteries of Machu Picchu? Now you can—while providing much needed funds to help the working horses of Peru.
We’ve partnered with AuthentEscapes, a travel company that creates unique travel experiences by combining privileged, VIP access to travel sites with celebrated hosts. Thanks to football great Shannon Sharpe, we’ll receive $300 for every person who books an AuthentEscapes 8-day luxury travel package Machu Picchu.
Sharpe will serve as a celebrity escort for one of the trips, May 18-25 2010, and he chose The HSUS as the charity to benefit. “I’m honored to have the opportunity to work with The Humane Society of the United States in an effort to raise money and support their continued work protecting animals,” Sharpe noted.
Funds raised through bookings for the Machu Picchu itinerary will support Humane Society International’s programs to assist animals in South America, beginning with a project to help Peru’s working equines.
Two Great Ways to Travel
If you can travel May 18-25, 2010, Shannon Sharpe will accompany you on this adventure by land and rail. No more than 40 people can be part of this exclusive package, so be sure to book early.
Can’t make the trip on those dates? AuthentEscapes will still donate $300 for each traveler who books the same itinerary any time between now and the end of 2010.
