Canada Geese Slaughtered and Spared in New York City
More than 750 Canada geese from New York City’s Jamaica Bay Wildlife Refuge were rounded up and inhumanely killed, while ongoing programs in Central Park and Prospect Park show that nonlethal management of Canada goose numbers is possible—and even more effective.
