    Audubon Society Of Portland, The HSUS And HSWLT Post Reward in Illegal Leg Hold Trap Case

    Audubon Society of Portland, The Humane Society of the United States, and the Humane Society Wildlife Land Trust have posted a reward of up to $3,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for setting an illegal leg hold trap in Beaverton.

    $2,500 reward offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who set a leghold trap in a Northwest neighborhood of Washington, D.C., that resulted in the trapped raccoon having to be euthanized.

    The HSUS commended the decision by a municipal judge in City of Richardson, Tex. to dismiss charges against wildlife rehabilitator Bonnie Bradshaw, who rescued a raccoon who was in a trap for more than 12 hours in the direct heat.
