Sea Lion Killing Suspended at Bonneville Dam in Response to HSUS Lawsuit
The HSUS announced that it has reached an agreement with the states of Oregon and Washington and the National Marine Fisheries Service, to suspend plans to kill as many as 85 sea lions at the Bonneville Dam this year.

Federal Appeals Court Blocks Sea Lion Killing at Bonneville Dam
The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco halted the National Marine Fisheries Service’s program to kill federally protected sea lions at the Bonneville Dam on the Washington and Oregon border.
