Animal Advocates Lobby North Carolina Lawmakers to Protect Animals at Humane Lobby Day 2011
Citizens from across North Carolina will meet with lawmakers in Raleigh Tuesday for Humane Lobby Day 2011, where they will urge them to support House Bill 395, which would strengthen the state’s cockfighting penalties. The HSUS is sponsoring Humane Lobby Day along with North Carolina Voters for Animal Welfare and the ASPCA© (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals©).
