The HSUS Assists in Rescue of More Than 70 North Carolina Farm Animals
The HSUS and Greene County Animal Control rescued more than 70 animals living in unsafe and inhumane conditions on a Walstonburg property. These animals included pigs, horses, goats and fowl.

Horses Rescued from Cannon County Farm Surrendered by Owner
More than 90 animals rescued Tuesday by The Humane Society of the United States and the Cannon County Sheriff’s Department have been surrendered by their owner. The horses, who were rescued from squalid conditions on a Bradyville farm, are now under the ownership of The HSUS.

The HSUS and the Cannon County Sheriff’s Department joined forces to rescue 84 horses from a Cannon County, Tenn., property. The horses were seized by the sheriff’s department due to signs of neglect and poor health.

Neglected Sled Dogs Rescued
Humane Society International and the SPCA Laurentides-Labelle partnered to rescue approximately 100 neglected sled dogs in the Upper Laurentians of Quebec. The owner was unable to care properly for his dogs and released them to the care of the SPCA LL.

Missouri Dog Transport
The Humane Society of the United States is transporting 21 dogs rescued during July’s historic multi-state federal dogfighting raid to foster groups in Virginia and Massachusetts. The HSUS loaded up the lucky animals in Missouri after having worked with the Humane Society of Missouri on the initial rescue mission.

Arkansas Horse Rescue
