Ninety dogs have a new lease on life after the New Jersey SPCA, The HSUS, Cumberland County SPCA and Gloucester County Animal Control/Animal Shelter removed them from a puppy mill operation in Upper Pittsgrove Township.

The HSUS Assists in Rescue of More Than 100 Alabama Dogs
The HSUS was called in by the Blount County Sheriff’s Department to lead the rescue of more than 100 dogs from a Hayden, Ala. property. These dogs were being housed in outdoor pens and lacked proper socialization and medical care.

Humane Society International and the SPCA Laurentides-Labelle partnered to rescue approximately 100 neglected sled dogs in the Upper Laurentians of Quebec. The owner was unable to care properly for his dogs and released them to the care of the SPCA LL.

Missouri Dog Transport
The Humane Society of the United States is transporting 21 dogs rescued during July’s historic multi-state federal dogfighting raid to foster groups in Virginia and Massachusetts. The HSUS loaded up the lucky animals in Missouri after having worked with the Humane Society of Missouri on the initial rescue mission.
