The HSUS v. United Egg Producers, et al. (Egg Price Fixing)


Based on evidence that the egg industry is engaged in a massive price-fixing scheme that has inflated egg company profits to historic highs, The HSUS has filed legal petitions with the United States Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission seeking civil and criminal penalties against the United Egg Producers -- the nation's largest egg trade association -- and a dozen major egg factory-farming corporations.
